Your Needs

Matthew 6:31-32 (KJV) Says, "Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? for your Heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things." Luke 12:24 (KJV) Says, "Consider the ravens:  for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse or barn; and God feedeth them:  how much more are ye better than the fowls?" Philippians 4:19 (KJV) Says, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Romans 8:32 (KJV) Says, "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"

Many born again believers in Jesus Christ fail to trust God in all things, and stand firm in their faith, when they face trials and tribulations in their life. The Word of God is full of the promises that God has made to us, and he has never nor will he ever break a single one of them. It is easy to say we have faith in God, when things are going smoothly in our lives. The true test of our faith comes when trouble comes our way. The fact is, however, when we are walking in obedience to God and putting our trust in him there is no need to wonder or worry about whether or not he will meet our needs because the fact is he will.

The above verses of scripture taken from the book of Matthew tells us not to worry about food, drink, or how we will be able to get clothing, when we are in need of these things. It is made clear to us here that God knows that we need these things. The verse of scripture taken from the book of Luke tells us to consider the fact that ravens do nothing to obtain food, and that they have no way to store it; yet God feeds them. This verse further points out that if God meets the needs of the ravens, then he will surely meet our needs as we are above birds in importance to him. The verse of scripture taken from the book of Philippians tells us that God will supply all of our needs. Finally, the above verse of scripture taken from the book of Romans reminds us that God didn't spare his Only Son, but gave him up to die on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for all of our sins. Knowing that he freely gave us the most precious gift of all, Jesus Christ, then how could we ever doubt that he will freely give us all things necessary to meet our needs.

As a born again believer in Jesus Christ, there is no reason whatsoever that we should ever spend time worrying about whether or not our needs will be met. If you are living in obedience to God, then he will certainly meet all of your needs. Don't spend time worrying over how a bill will get paid, what you will eat, whether or not you'll have anything to drink, or whether any other need you have will be met. Instead, stand firm in your faith, trust the promises God's given in his Word that tell you he will meet your needs, and watch him work. He is nothing short of Amazing.

If you have a prayer request and would like me to pray for you, leave me a message and I will be more than happy to do so. May God bless you!
